I will always remember the smiling, laughing and always happy Rick. We spent a lot of time tearing apart the old FBO building!!! He was always there when I needed help. He wanted me to have that restaurant as much as I did!
He loved his Mom and Grandma and they loved him back ten fold.
You will be missed my friend.
I love you Bev, you were always his biggest fan and loved him so much and he knew how blessed he was.
XOXO

I can say so many things about Rick, but i will only comment on a few. He welcomed us to the neighborhood when my daughter and I first moved in to the neighborhood. He always helped us and at one point gave us a vacuum cleaner as a gift, he said it was from his grandma "still works" we thanked him so much. He also brought us yummy chocolate or candy's sometimes as a sweet treat! His last generous gesture was a few weeks ago when he gave us his piano that he said he always used and wanted it for my granddaughter Gianna to eventually learn on (very sweet). He shared a beautiful moment with me by coming to my granddaughters first birthday and he had a lot of fun! He also loved our dog Mango so very much and brought him treats all the time. He was just a very giving and generous soul, always kind and respectful with everyone. WE WILL MISS RICK, OUR DEAR NEIGHBOR AND GREAT FRIEND!

It was my pleasure to have known Rick and been his neighbor for over 6 years. He was always smiling and upbeat and friendly! I miss him greeting me when I come home from work on the weekends. He was there to help me out when he saw the need. My condolences to his family.

Rick was a good neighbor to me for many years and I'll miss having him around here. Deepest sympathies to his mom Bev and family. Gone too soon.

So sorry to hear of this very sad and unexpected news! I played with Rick in a rock band for a few years back in the mid to late 80's. We played many great shows together and rehearsed at my house every week in Pompton Plains, NJ. He was always smiling, optimistic and fun! Not sure if many know, but he also was not only a fantastic guitar player, but quite the singer as well. I enjoyed playing music with him very much! He will be greatly missed!

Even though I haven’t seen Ricky in so so many years, he was always, always, always a KIND GENUINE FUNNY SOUL that I was blessed to have known when hanging out with the Geddes crew in Lincoln Park. They were all, but especially him, generous, kind and genuine. I am thankful to have known him.

Ricky was a good friend. We shared a lot of good times at the VFW. He was an officer for the men's auxiliary and we all benefited from his input and his help. He was always there for his friends. We will all miss him.
