Clarence A. Ritz, 90, was born to C. Vern and Mabel Ritz, August 22, 1929, and entered into eternal rest April 23, 2020. He grew up in Berlin Heights, OH and graduated from Berlin Local School in 1947. Nov. 12, 1950, he and Jeanette Plue were married. He was a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service in Huron, OH and transferred to Titusville, FL in 1969. He loved to fly and obtained his pilot’s license at age 18. His favorite pastime was building and flying radio controlled model planes. When he retired, he built an Ultra-lite and flew it at Dunn Airport. He is survived by his wife; sons, Thomas and Richard, Titusville; grandson Brandon (Lindzee), N. Augusta, SC, granddaughter Riley (Trevor) Willman; two great-granddaughters, Evelyn Ritz and Blake Ellen Willman; a sister, Mary L. Schultz, Delaware, OH; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; brother, John, and sister, Edith Mae Bowman. No service is scheduled at this time. Our thanks to Hospice of St. Francis, his doctors, the many nurses who cared for him and Newcomer Funeral Home.
